Transforming Lives Through the Power of Work

Transformation is happening

Goodwill Southern California prepares and places those facing the greatest barriers to employment – including veterans, people encountering homelessness, individuals with disabilities, disconnected youth, and the formerly incarcerated—into meaningful, sustainable employment with opportunities for career advancement.

Since 1916, Goodwill SoCal has been at the forefront of “Transforming Lives Through the Power of Work,” serving vulnerable job seekers through 9 employment centers across Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside Counties.  As the region’s largest workforce development organization and an established Employment Social Enterprise, Goodwill SoCal has an unmatched ability to deliver workforce solutions at a scale no other nonprofit can match.

Creating Stronger, Healthier Communities – Your Dollars at WORK:

  • Connecting People to Opportunity                                                                                                                              We work hand-in-hand with individuals facing barriers to employment to provide job training, career coaching, and job placement services.
  • Building Economic Stability
By equipping job seekers with the skills needed for in-demand industries like healthcare, logistics, and IT, we’re helping families move from surviving to thriving.
  • Fostering a Thriving Local Economy
Our participants don’t just benefit from workforce development—they give back. Many go on to launch small businesses, mentor others, or join local nonprofits, creating a cycle of investment in our community.

We offer job readiness and skills training, working one-on-one to help individuals identify their strengths and connect with meaningful, accessible employment.

Our Veteran Employment Program counselors work with veterans one-to-one to help them translate military job experience into civilian job opportunities.
